Petroleum Geoscience collaboration
The continued support of education and research of the Department of Geology and Petroleum Studies at Makerere University fills a future demand in workforce and research competence in the petroleum sector of Uganda . Although the petroleum sector is moving slowly forward and the job marked still is limited, the candidates that are educated from the EnPe supported program are filling positions related to mineral resources, water and education. The same accounts for candidates from South Sudan. In this country there is a large demand for competence and workforce in the young petroleum industry.
