Capacity Building within Petroleum Engineering and Research at UEM

Universidad Eduardo Mondlane (UEM) will together with NTNU build up a Master and a Bachelor Program within Petroleum Engineering at UEM. At the end of this EnPe periood the Master Program will be running, taught mainly by UEM emplyees (with petroleum engineering background). A Master Program in petroleum geophysics is also evolving. It will be formally focused on after present EnPe period. One of the challenges are to attract good candidates who can meet the PhD requirements at NTNU, in competitions with opportunities offered by the industry.
