The MSESSD program is organizing the second international symposium on “Gender and sustainable development” with the objective of providing a unique forum to discuss the gender issues in urban development. The symposium 1 National Planning Commission, 2015: Sustainable Development Goals, 2016-2030, National (Preliminary), will be held on the 4th and 5th December 2017 (18 and 19 Mangsir 2074) and it is expected to be participated by the key representatives of governments, civil societies, international organizations and academia. The first international symposium held on 9th November 2016 was a great success and the proceedings of both the symposium (1st and the 2nd) will be published soon.
